HAWKEYE MOMENT

Since its formation in 1904, Hills Bank and Trust Company has been involved with agriculture and farm families in Eastern Iowa. Agriculture is intertwined with our history, heritage and values, and it remains an important part of our culture today. We are grateful for all the hard work, progress and innovation that have come from agriculture’s farm producers and agri-businesses over the past three decades.

BEHIND THE DESIGN

Playing off “The Children of the Corn” name, Jim and April worked on this life-size ear of corn in their family room when the garage became too cold. They enveloped Herky in a husk made of chicken wire and covered the body in individual foam-hardened kernels.
