The atmosphere was electric at #1 Ranked Hawkeyes vs. #2 Michigan in 1985. My wife was 7 months pregnant with our first child and I don’t think we sat the entire game. I vividly remember the tremendous tackle Larry Station made to force the earlier Michigan punt. It seemed destined that the Hawkeyes would push the ball into field goal range for Rob Houghtlin. The pressure on Rob was immense as Michigan attempted to “ice” him with a timeout. Once it was struck the entire Kinnick crowd erupted. The coolest part was that no one left – and I mean no one for what seemed like a half hour. We just sat there in pure joy for the tremendous game we had seen. – Mike McGrath

BEHIND THE DESIGN
Inspired by Evel Knievel and his daring jumping attempts on a motorcycle, this Herky is a true work of art. His red and blue jumpsuit with its sharp white collar models Knievel’s real riding attire. Be sure to look closely at the motorcycle rider on a jump painted in gray in Herky’s teeth.
