HAWKEYE MOMENT

My favorite Hawkeye moment is Iowa at Michigan State on 10/24/09. A bunch of us gathered at a local establishment to watch the game and celebrate my birthday. Iowa fell behind with 1:38 left in the game and drove for the winning score on the last play of the game on a 7 yard pass from Ricky Stanzi to Marvin McNutt. Everyone in the place went nuts. It was a good birthday present! – Mick Fletcher

BEHIND THE DESIGN

Both Big Foot and Herky the Hawk are whimsical creatures that provide different meanings to different people. For some, both are a living being, mysterious but amazing; to others, both are a source of humor and pride. Big Foot is has returned after 10 years to its original location.
